Twentysomething actress Julie Robert flies to London with her best friend Camilla for a role in a film. The project is cancelled and Julie is crestfallen. She is also penniless, having spent all of her savings to finance the move. So she accepts a job from wealthy couple Joseph and Bella to spy on their daughter Joy. The actress adopts the fake identity of Emily to carry out her surveillance and discovers that Joy’s boyfriend Sebastian is the head of a cult.
