Michael McCrea lives on a Dublin housing estate with his grandfather Francis. He foolishly agrees to take possession of a bag of drugs for a friend’s older brother. Sentenced to three months behind bars, the impressionable teenager is taken under the wing of fellow prisoner David but friendship comes at a price. Meanwhile, Francis faces myriad problems on the outside including an unwelcome visit from thugs, who want compensation for the confiscated drugs.
