Meeting Gorbachev (PG)

Born in 1931 in the village of Privolnoye, Mikhail Gorbachev served as General Secretary of the Community Party and the Soviet Union's only President, playing a pivotal role in the end of the Cold War and the reunification of Germany. Werner Herzog conducts a series of interviews with Gorbachev to gain a better understanding of his perspective on 20th-century European politics, intercut with archive footage of the former President's early years.
