An award-winning documentary, which examines the high price of globalisation through the eyes of workers, who toil long hours for meagre pay in a gigantic textile factory in the Gujarat state of western India. Eschewing a voiceover, the film glides through the corridors of the building, observing the physical and emotional hardships of the workers on their gruelling 12-hour shifts, producing cheap cotton wares that can be sold for considerable profit to the west and far beyond.
