Science graduate Ian Gray has always been fascinated with eyes and often takes pictures of people’s irises, which are the subject of his research. He is examining the evolution of the human eye with lab partner Kenny and new assistant Karen. During a break from this research, Ian meets Sofi and falls head over heels in love. They plan to marry but the big day is interrupted by a telephone call from Karen to inform Ian that they have made a major breakthrough.
