From a young age, Olga Hepnarova is subjected to mental and physical abuse from her family and peers. She emerges from her adolescent battered and bruised, and seeks employment as a truck driver. Olga finds it difficult to forge romances or friendships, although an older man called Miroslav manages to break down her defences. As the pressure inside Olga builds, she pens letters to various newspapers in which she rages against the world and confesses that she intends to commit mass murder.
