Ingrid Thorburn is consigned to a mental hospital to confront her warped view of reality. She develops an obsession with socialite Taylor Sloane, who documents every facet of her picture perfect life with husband Ezra on various social media channels. Using her mother’s inheritance, Ingrid moves to Los Angeles, rents an apartment from Batman-obsessed screenwriter Dan Pinto and stalks Sloane from afar. Over time, Ingrid spins a web of lies to worm her way into Sloane’s life.
