In 2015, Sheridan Smith headlined the Menier Chocolate Factory’s sold-out staging of the semi-biographical musical Funny Girl based on the life of Broadway star and comedienne Fanny Brice. The production transferred into London’s West End in 2016 before embarking on a UK tour the following year. For one night only, audiences around the UK can savour Smith’s performance in the live recording from the final week of the run at the Palace Theatre in Manchester under the direction of Michael Mayer.
