Primary schoolteacher Florence is devoted to her work and her young students. She has a gift for inspiring her young charges to meet their full potential, even if that means working above and beyond her set hours. She lives close to the school with her 10-year-old son Denis and is always available to parents and children in an emergency. Her resolve is severely tested by transfer student Sacha, whose behavioural problems create friction in the classroom.
