Journalist and filmmaker David Thorpe has long wondered if his voice marks him out as gay in a world which makes lazy, split-second decisions about people based on how they look and sound. In order to come to terms with his securities, Thorpe puts himself in front of and behind the lens for this documentary, which asks if there is such as a thing as a “gay voice” and ponders why some people “sound gay”.
