Charles Schine and Lucinda Harris are commuters who pass each other on the train each day, barely noticing one another. By chance, they catch each other’s eye and engage in conversation. The spark of mutual attraction is obvious and the corporate high-flyers – who are both married – go out for a drink, which leads to a passionate one night stand. In the heat of their ardour, Charles and Lucinda are shocked when a gun-toting stranger bursts into their hotel room and threatens them, turning their worlds upside down.
