Danny Says

Born and raised in Richmond Hill, New York, Danny Fields orbited the same circles as Andy Warhol and worked his way up the ranks of the publicity department at Elektra Records. Fields managed groundbreaking artists including the Ramones, Stooges and MC5, and also worked for the Doors and Lou Reed, shining a spotlight on artists on the margins of the mainstream. This affectionate documentary pays tribute to a man, who was at the beating heart of late 20th-century culture.
