On a moonlight night on Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles, Ellie and her younger brother Jimmy are involved in a traffic accident. Swerving to avoid an animal, the siblings hit another vehicle, which careers off the road and into a ravine. When they try to help the stricken driver, Ellie and Jimmy are attacked by a wolf, both suffering injuries which subsequently results in an increase their physical strength, heightens their senses and intensifies their sexual allure to the people around them.
