Scout leader Peter leads his boys on a camping trip, but they become lost. The troop sets up camp and one of the scouts, imaginative 12-year-old Sam, heads into the wilderness alone. In the dark, Sam encounters a young wolf-boy named Kai, who has been the subject of wild rumours for years. When Sam returns to camp, he shares his story about Kai but the other scouts and Peter refuse to believe his tall tale… until they fall victim to deadly traps set by Kai’s hunter father.
