In 1959 Bucharest, the Ioanid Gang comprising Alice Bercovich, Dumi Dorneanu, Razvan Orodel, Iorgu Ristea and Max Rosenthal shoots a film directed by Flaviu as a cover for the daring robbery of the National Bank of Romania. The hare-brained scheme unfolds as planned but a young cafe worker called Virgil witnesses the theft and uses the information to align himself with the gang.
