Steve Rogers lives in present day Washington D.C. and is struggling to acclimatise to modern society having been frozen in time for decades. When dark forces launch a surprise attack on S.H.I.E.L.D., director Nick Fury and his sidekick Maria Hill welcome Steve back into the fold in his guise as Captain America. Working alongside spy Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow, Steve gradually unravels the mystery that threatens mankind, which leads back to his wartime buddy James Barnes.
