It is the 1960s and musician Chet Baker’s career and personal life are in tatters after years of heroin addiction. The musician is a shadow of his former self during the 1950s, when he was one of the most famous trumpeters in the world and a pioneer of the West Coast jazz scene. Baker resolves to stage an unlikely comeback spurred on by his passionate romance with a new flame called Jane. However, demons of the past continue to haunt him and Baker threatens to squander his genius again.
