Bolshoi Ballet Live: Le Corsaire

Broadcast live from the stage of the historic Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow, Le Corsaire is a romantic ballet in three acts with new choreography by Alexei Ratmansky, based on a libretto by Jules Henri Vernoy de Saint-Georges and Joseph Mazilier edited by Marius Petipa. Set to an original score by Adolphe Adam and Leo Delibes, the story centres on Conrad, the leader of a band of corsairs, who has come to the square of the local bazaar to catch sight of his beloved, a young Greek girl called Medora.
