Sisters Claire and Lisa are on the run from the police. They steal a car belonging to poetry duo the Wilding Sisters and decide to pass themselves off as the wordsmiths at a weekend festival organised by the Poets’ Poetry Society. Lisa is smitten with a writer called Richard and she resolves to woo him away from his girlfriend Louise. However, Richard’s eye falls upon shy and retiring Claire, catalysing competitive spirit between the sisters.
