Beyond The River (12A)

Steve Andrews is a veteran of the Dusi Canoe Marathon, the biggest event of its kind on the African continent. He has nine gold medals but preparations for this year's event are hampered by a faltering marriage. Unexpectedly, Steve is thrown together with gifted canoer Duma Madlala, who is determined to change course from operating on the wrong side of the law. These two athletes intend to compete as a doubles pair, which will rely on them trusting each other completely inside their boat.
