Lucie is a housewife, who juggles her time between her emotionally unstable sister and her husband Paul, a successful surgeon who seems to spend more time at work than he does nurturing their marriage. Out of the blue, Paul receives red roses and Lucie suspects he is having an affair. It transpires the flowers are from a cafe waitress called Lou, who claims to be one of Paul’s former patients.
