In 2013, 28 cyclists from eight countries around the world gathered at Battle Mountain in Nevada to compete in the International Human Powered Vehicle Association (IHPVA) World Human Powered Speed Challenge. Among the hopefuls was cycling legend Graeme Obree, nicknamed The Flying Scotsman. This documentary travels to Nevada with Obree as he tests his physical resolve to the limit on an unusual bike designed by himself, which was affectionately christened The Beastie.
