A documentary about modern-day slavery and one woman’s journey towards freedom. Marish has been working unpaid as a housekeeper for more than 10 years. She has an additional job as a cleaner in a factory and must hand over these wages to her employer. Fearful of what might happen if she tries to escape, Marish has accepted her grim lot in life. As Marish bonds with the filmmaker, she considers taking a leap of faith towards a brighter future.
