A Tale Of Samurai Cooking (U)

Haru is a lowly maid, whose impeccable palate and talent in the kitchen cause a stir in the household of her current mistress. She catches the eye of Dennai Funaki, head chef to the Maeda clan warlord. He is keen for his son Yasunobu to take up the family mantle but the young Funaki would rather wield a sword than knives. So Dennai arranges a marriage between Haru and Yasunobu in the hope that her simmering passion for food will boil over and open his son’s eyes to fine cuisine.
