A New York Winter's Tale (12A)

Petty thief Peter Lake breaks into a house and he is instantly bewitched by a girl called Beverly Penn, who has tuberculosis and is slowly dying. While she clings onto life with her father Isaac at her side, Peter clashes with a sadistic Irish gangster called Pearly Soames, who doles out violence without mercy. Peter is saved from a lethal beating by a mysterious white horse called Athansor, which becomes the thief’s guardian angel across space and time.
