An Autumn Afternoon + Introduction (PG)

Elderly widower Shuhei Hirayama presides over this three grown-up children: sons Koichi and Kazuo, and dutiful daughter Michiko. She cooks, cleans and takes care of the home in the absence of her mother. One of Shuhei’s old friends pricks his conscience and he acknowledges that he has denied his daughter a full life by keeping her at home. So Shuhei sets about finding Michiko a suitable husband before she loses the chance to have children of her own.
