Thirty years ago, Clifford McBride ventured into the unknown with Project Lima to prove the existence of alien life. He never returned. Now his son, Major Roy McBride, hopes to further mankind's knowledge as part of the team working on the International Space Antenna. When a series of devastating electrical storms threatens Earth, Roy's superiors suspect Clifford may be involved. They entreat Roy to travel to Neptune to learn if his father is still alive.
