Across The Waters

Jazz guitarist Arne Itkin, his wife Miriam and their five-year-old son Jakob live in 1943 Copenhagen. When rumours about the Nazis deporting Danish Jews are confirmed, Arne and his family turn to the church pastor and local resistance for help to gain safe passage to the fishing village of Gilleleje. However, the family must trust strangers to escape the horrors of the concentration camps and the Gestapo and Danish collaborators are determined to hunt them down.
