Mia is struggling to come to terms with the death of her mother from cancer and she doesn’t feel like she can talk to her controlling father Mack. She seeks solace in alcohol and the company of her good friend, Natalie. On the spur of the moment, Mia steals a scooter and heads to a music festival with Natalie riding pillion. The scooter’s owner, Leon, chases after her accompanied by his best friend, Heath, a struggling musician who is on probation after a few brushes with the law.
