Get The Look: Kate Moss
Why we love her: If she wears it, it'll become trendy. Kate Moss is the type of style icon that everyone will still talk about decades from now. She exudes cool, and she looks great without looking like she tried too hard. In a hi-lo amalgam of thrift shop bargains, vintage classics and the latest creations from the runway, this girl knows what works - even if she dresses haphazardly in about 20 minutes, which she says is often the case.
How to get her look: Use your own judgment and try something different. If it looks like you agonized over your outfit, you're doing it wrong. Pair a designer bag (Kate likes Balenciaga) with a simple t-shirt, or try a pair of higher-waister, loose-fitting jeans to distinguish yourself from the skinny jean crowd.
And don't be a price snob. Whether you wear Yves Saint Laurent or Topshop (where Kate's collection debuts 1 May), just find something that suits you. If Kate doesn't like what she sees on the racks, she looks somewhere else - you might even find your newest favourite thing at a jumble sale.
Where to shop: Kate has been known to buy from Topshop, and she's a fan of the vintage store Virginia. You can also try Harvey Nichols, Chloe, Cartier or Rellik, another London vintage shop. Urban Outfitters has a good stock of ecclectic, funky clothing.
Brands to get: Siwy, Earl or Levi's denim, Vivienne Westwood, Dior, Marc Jacobs, or vintage of any variety
