Steve Redmond, of the Entertainment Retailers Association, told The Sun newspaper: ”Adele’s been the success story of the past year by a mile. You only get an Adele once every ten years. It’s success on a ginormous scale.”

In second place is Twilight star Robert Pattinson, 25, who has increased his wealth by £8million since last year, taking his total to £40million, while Keira Knightley, 27, still has an estimated £30million, the same as last year.
