The royal – who was previously a member of the British Olympic horse riding team – flew in to Fulmer, South Buckinghamshire, via helicopter to meet volunteers at the South Bucks Riding for the Disabled Association, where she handed out rosettes to members.

Chairman of the group Di Redfern revealed Anne was particularly interested in the horses during her visit.

She told the Bucks Free Press: “She was very happy to see so many riders and took a lot of time to talk to them all.

“She asked lots of questions about all the horses as well.”
