The former The Only Way Is Essex star – who finished runner-up on the ITV1 show to McFly star Dougie Poynter – spent a lot of time flirting with model Emily Scott but insists there was no prospect of them getting intimate.
He said: “I didn’t think about sex once. I was too hungry! People say I have a reputation as a ladies’ man because of TOWIE, but they have all been my girlfriends.
“I have probably slept with about 20 girls. I like having a partner. I am not the kind of guy who has one-night stands.”
Although Mark says there’s no chance of him and Emily hooking up now they’ve both left, he says his time in the Australian jungle made him realise he is over ex-fiancee Lauren Goodger, who he had a 10-year on/off relationship with.
He said: “The jungle has helped me get over Lauren. That is behind me and in my past. She is a special person in my life, but right now I want to be on my own. I am looking forward to the future.
“The jungle could have gone one of two ways – I could have gone in and thought I want her back. But it didn’t, it did the opposite and I realised I had made the right decision and I want to move on.”
