DENISE VAN OUTEN has had a self-confessed “rant” at EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy and has been backed in her tough stance by the X Factor’s Dannii Minogue.

The Legally Blonde actress told Cassidy to “stick her trumpet where the sun don’t shine” in a row over the correct time to go back to work after having a baby.

Cassidy had earlier criticised Van Outen when the latter performed within a fortnight of giving birth to baby daughter Betsy.

But when she found out that Cassidy herself was back on the day-job a few weeks after the birth of her own baby – Eliza – Van Outen let fly.

“Natalie Cassidy criticised me for going back to work after having Betsy,” Van Outen reminded her Twitter followers.

“Natailes on Lorraine [Kelly’s breakfast TV] show now promoting her reality pregnancy/new mum show. Isn’t that work???”

“She said she did the show for money, so yes, that is work. Pot calling!!!!”

“We put our family picture out press to raise money for Great Ormand street, she did a family shot and put the money in her pocket. End of rant.”

A bit later Dannii Minogue Twitted her support with an “I salute you! X” message.

Next up, a fourth female celeb entered the picture when Van Outen expressed her delight at Emma ‘Baby Spice’ Bunton’s pregnancy news.

“Hey! HUGE CONGRATS to the three of you. How exciting!!!!!! Aww, so happy for you. Hope you’re feeling ok xxxxx,” said Van Outen.

So far, she hasn’t offered Bunton any advice on when to head back to work.

Tickets are still available for Legally Blonde starring Denise Van Outen at the Savoy theatre.
