Friday, 12th June 2009
SUSAN BOYLE is to release an album in time for Christmas based on her favourite tunes from hit West End musicals.
"Susan's first day as a recording artist; she had a brilliant time," a source told The Sun.
"She talked about what songs she wanted for the album - it’s going to be a case of trying to pin her down to her favourite ten."
Nailed on to be included in the ten track long LP is I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables, the song which helped her to overnight worldwide internet super-stardom.
There is also talk the Britain's Got Talent runner-up will include a duet with her hero, musical stalwart Elaine Paige, possibly Don't Cry for Me Argentina, from Evita.
Boyle's well-documented health troubles - she suffered from exhaustion after the BGT final - means she is only likely to perform in some of the tour arranged to celebrate the series.
