David and Victoria Beckham's eldest son celebrated his birthday with Eva Longoria Parker and Heidi Klum on Tuesday (04.03.08).
Although David was unable to attend Brooklyn's ninth birthday party, Victoria ensured her son had a day to remember by inviting her celebrity friends along to Los Angeles restaurant Pink Taco in the Century City Mall.
The Spice Girl - accompanied by her two other sons Romeo and Cruz - also invited 30 of Brooklyn's friends and their mothers to the bash, which was held in a private section of the eatery behind a beaded curtain and guarded by an eight-man security team.
A source said: "The younger guests had all kinds of things off the menu - chips, salsa, quesadillas, guacamole. Victoria brought along a special birthday cake to celebrate. Victoria, Eva and Heidi were looking stunning.
There was a bunch of posh soccer moms there too.
"The kids were just being kids, laughing it up. They even brought their own CD playlist for the party."
Victoria was seen taking pictures with her own camera and laughing and joking with guests as she handed out party bags to her son's pals. Brooklyn and his friends took to the floor to show off their dancing skills.
The source added: "The best part was when the kids started break dancing in the middle of the restaurant. They had the restaurant put on this special CD to break dance to. It was amazing."
Victoria, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz - who was dressed in a Batman outfit - then went to a screening of new family movie The Spiderwick Chronicles. David was forced to miss the bash as he is currently on tour in China with his Los Angeles Galaxy soccer team.
