Brittany Murphy: I Don't Have an Eating Problem
- 'This is my body I'm proud of it,' actress says

BRITTANY MURPHY has hit back at claims she is suffering from an eating disorder.

The diminutive actress says she is sick of rumours she is starving herself because she is so slight.

Murphy, who is currently getting ready to shoot Sin City 2, insists she has stopped worrying about what people think and is happy in her slender bones.

She said: "I'm the same size I was when I was in Clueless I used to feel embarrassed about being too tiny.

"I even had a publicist who used to tell me to cover up my arms in photos to stop people picking on me. She meant well, but it made me really self-conscious. Then I came to terms with it. Then I came to terms with it.

"This is my body I'm proud of it."

Murphy, 27, has also revealed she has stopped trying to gain weight just to stop the Hollywood gossip mill.

She added: "I've stopped trying to eat 12 eggs for breakfast. I'm healthy which is the most important thing."
