| Hong Kong Fans to Pay Top Dollar to See Robbie Williams - Ex-Take That singer's concert tickets priced at UKP171 Fans of the Let Me Entertain You singer will have to pay up to HKD2,480 or UKP171 each to see the show. The exact date and venue of the performance - which will be his second concert in the city - have yet to be revealed, although it is expected to take place in November. Robbie is not the first artist to come under fire from locals for high ticket prices. The most expensive concert in Hong Kong to date was a 2004 gig by The Eagles who charged punters HKD2,750, UKP190, for a single ticket. Meanwhile, Robbie has announced that he is to quit touring. The former Take That member says he has no plans to go back on the road after he's finished his 2006 world tour because he's so tired of playing live. The Tripping singer - who kicked off his tour in South Africa in April and will finish in Australia in December - said: "I'm not going to tour for a long time after this one. "For me, this tour is a year-long celebration of what I have achieved as a solo artist. After that I'll say, 'Thank you very much', it's not something that I want to do again for a long time." |
