Native Argentinean Elena Roger was selected over a large pool of American and British actresses to play the famous icon Eva Peron, the second wife of Argentine dictator Juan Peron. The show, which was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice in 1974, will return to London's West End this summer, after a 21 year hiatus. Other cast members will include Philip Quast as Peron and Matt Rawle as Che. - Patrick Allegri
