Antony Genn and Martin Slattery of The Hours have led quite busy musical lives. Before coming together here, Antony had been a member of both Elastica and Pulp, and the two worked together as members of Joe Strummer's Mescaleros. On The Hours' debut, Narcissus Road, the two claim their territory in the destined-for-stadiums type of piano rock that has been recently dominated by Coldplay and Keane. While The Hours introduce a harder edge to their music, fans of those piano juggernauts will find Narcissus Road to be a familiar delight...
