NEW! London Jobs

London Jobs. Photo Credit: ewen and donabel . C.C.LicenseMoving to London is exhilarating and terrifying, all at once. Big city, lots of people, always busy - and add to that trying to work in London, and you've got yourself a significant task: to find good, respectable, gainful employment in the third most expensive city in the world, while still retaining your life and responsibilities...

Meat Market Crash

So far, I make it 2-1 in the great pizza v. burger war. People who used to glory in Giraffe's pricey ethnic world burgers have responded to the financial storm by downshifting to Pizza Express. 1-0 Pizza.

Meanwhile, Pizza Express's burned customer base has legged it to McDonalds (1-1), whose own crowd are now forced to sit at home those 45 lonely minutes for a pizza delivery (2-1) from the cheap place up the road that is, in truth, better at kebabs.

Grrr. This degrading downgrading is another example of making the victim pay, like with all the endless sneaky escape plans dreamed up by the financial and political elites to be paid for by Mr and Mrs Mug the tax payers.

Don't let the bankers save their bacon by cutting back your pepperoni! is my motto.

Instead, let's share their bacon, or better still, as the film title goes, let's Eat the Rich. Rupert and Lucinda should baste each other in extra virgin olive oil, cook themselves under their private sunbeds and offer up their flesh in sacrifice to the people. To be blunt, if they don't do the noble thing, we'll have to watch Jamie Oliver and actually learn how to cook.
